Job Description

Honeywell Aerospace China Engineering has an immediate opening for a software engineer. The selected candidates will be working in Displays and Graphics (D&G) product line within Software Verification & Validation (SW V&V) in China, and performing system/software verification/validation activities for all functionalities on D&G products, including Graphics Generation Function (GGF), Inter-active Navigation Function (INAV), Monitor Warning Function (MWF), Electronic Checklist Function (ECL), etc.
Responsibilities for this position include requirement analysis, test case/scenarios design, test environment configuration, debugging, dry-run, problem reporting, coverage data collection/analysis, formal execution and tool development. The candidate will need broad and deep understanding of technically complex product and process technologies, and will interface frequently with global teams for technical discussion and problem solving.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master in Computer/Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related engineering field.
Good understanding of software engineering processes/life cycles.
A positive, can-do attitude is required. Must work well as a member of a team, and adapt well to a changing environment.
Good communication with fluency in written, reading and oral English
Good self-learning capability and problem solving skills.

Additional Qualifications:
1+ Years of C/C++/Python software development experience is preferred.
Experience in embedded software system under RTOS is plus.
Experience in avionics system/software (DO178x) is preferred.
