Hang Seng's Corporate Services is a team of professionals managing nearly 300 properties in Hong Kong used by thousands of staff to support millions of customers. Whether it is a customer entering the branch or a staff collaborating in the office, the team is responsible for making it a positive experience.
Working closely with business partners and external vendors, the team covers a wide range of real estate functions. This includes planning, acquisition, design, construction/fitting out, asset management, facilities management, and administration of Hang Seng's operational and investment real estate portfolio. The team also provides collateral appraisal services to internal business users and asset management services to external customers.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Head of Physical and Security Management.
The Head of Protective Security and Health & Safety provides leadership and guidance for all the PS and H&S; teams HASE. The role holder has a number of core areas of responsibility:
Principal responsibilities:
  • Operationally oversee all Protective Security activity of the bank
  • Manage the response and resolution to any material security incidents
  • Provide clear strategic direction and leadership
  • Build trusting relationships with key stakeholders based on a common understanding of roles and responsibilities
  • Ensure the physical security teams work in alignment with global and regional policy, Protective Security standards and applicable local regulations
  • Plans, directs and controls the identification, delivery and review of Health & Safety policies within Hang Seng (HASE) in partnership with service providers to protect HASE's employees, customers, visitors and the general public in HASE's properties
  • Oversees and drives compliance with both global standard Health and Safety policies, procedures and protocols and Health and Safety legislative and code of practice requirements within HKSAR.
  • Plans and manages all Health and Safety activities in alignment with global Corporate Services strategy.
Requirements:
University degree in a related discipline Significant knowledge and working experience in Protective Security, Health and Safety and fire risk management planning, processes and operations with a bank or financial institution Solid knowledge and practical experience of managing OHSAS 18001 complaint Occupational Health and Safety Management System Detailed understanding of Protective Security controls, techniques and their application Significant awareness of third party influences on our ability to operate. Proven track record of implementing risk management programs and occupational health and well-being promotional programs Strong self-motivation, with excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate and negotiate with all levels of management. Ability to be a self-starter and an innovative thinker. Relevant industry qualifications and relevant membership to professional bodies.
