about the role
  • Proven leader at organizational change and a strong operational leader with expertise on approaches and best practices to transform Solution Consulting teams
  • Improve and innovate how we deliver our value including demo environments, approaches, standardized materials for consistent, successful delivery
  • Upskill and uplift the capabilities of the Solution teams
  • Working with sales teams on deal strategy and leading a team to clearly communicate our solution value by the way we deliver content, demos, and repeatable approaches to lead solution success
  • Understand the needs of the sales organization, and develop plans to ensure outstanding support of those needs through day to day leadership of the Solution team
  • Develop team members according to the demands of the business and according to their individual professional goals
  • Assign resources to sales opportunities, and consistently evaluate progress against deliverables and overall goals
  • Evaluate team members regularly through analysis of direct observation, peer feedback and sales feedback
  • Ensure proper alignment of resources and effective utilization of skill sets
  • Manage day-to-day activities such as resource scheduling conflicts, activity reporting etc.
  • Be able to articulate the sales message, differentiate Ellucian, and leave a strong and positive impression to audiences

about you
  • Previous team leading experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT (preferably 10+), including architecture design/implementation experience in either application or infrastructure space
  • Application architecture experience. Ability to explain how to deploy an application on cloud using native services.
  • Will hold a Bachelor's degree or higher, and be fluent in spoken and written Mandarin (business level) as well as comfortable in spoken English.
  • Be customer Savvy with excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to produce clear and detailed pre-sales and technical documentation.
  • Strong presentation skills, able to articulate both the technical and business value propositions of proposed solutions.
  • Previous experience with a Systems Integrator or Consulting organization would be preferred.

Education, Qualifications and Certifications
. Technical experience on high level design and infrastructure dependencies
. Relevant work experience in advisory, solution architecture, systems integration, transformation management, or customer success roles with large enterprise companies.
. Knowledge of migration software and technologies
. Substantial experience with technology transformation initiatives.
  • Prior technical experience in the following products would be advantageous:
    • Amazon Web Services (Associate or Professional)
    • Microsoft Azure (Azure Solution Architect Expert)
    • Google Cloud Platform (Professional)
    • Microsoft Technologies (preferably MCSE certified)
    • Enterprise Storage Technologies (experience with NetApp and/or EMC)
    • Server Technologies (experience with HP, Dell, Huawei and/or Cisco UCS)
    • Opensource knowledge includes Openstack, chef, Ansible, Terraform, Git, Jenkins
