Description:
The Hardware Engineer coordinates and supports the Hardware activities for the program. Has responsibility for building and maintaining the bays, executing hardware delivering plan and execution, BOM maintains and ICV rolling up, material tracking, etc...
Duties include (but are not limited to):
  • Support program hardware integration plan and execution
  • Maintains Parts Tracker, Product Structure, Release Schedule, supports identifying long lead items.
  • Ensures detailed prototype material tracking and availability for bay and target integration. Regulatory testing, verification and validation
  • Works with Manufacturing to obtain production material for V&V
  • Works with LHI and maintains excel BOM of product, including BOM structure and parts tracker (essential output, spare yes/no, drawing and BOM release schedule, long lead items identify, etc.)
  • Execute system level BOM changes for product enhancement
  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

Qualifications:
  • Bachler degree with 2 years working experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical engineering or closely related discipline
  • 1 year relevant work experience
  • Has the hardware design knowledge and background Has experience in medical device industry Demonstrated ability to pursue tasks to completion Good English in both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:
MR related experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task Demonstrated problem solving ability and results orientation.
