  • Accountable for forecast sharing and capacity commit process with foundries.
  • Load to target management and/or resource under loadings. Drive optimal factory resource loading solutions.
  • Demand variance analysis, WIP flush checking and tracking for critical resource/ products.
  • Resolve disconnects and/or underloadings challenges
    • Identify and report on a weekly basis critical disconnects and take ownership to drive solutions with key organizations (Factory planning, PPF, product engineering, S&OP…) to resolve the gap
    • Work with PPF on Demand Adjustment and Material allocation (e.g. Specific Wafer for higher yield)
    • Bridge between different teams on NPI/NTI Qualification, Demand Transfer via Interlock Process
    • Provide early warning to PPF for potential supply disconnect
  • Interface with S&OP and Strategy regarding critical disconnect discussion
    • Interface meeting with S&OP address transfer projects, capacity scenarios and align on communication to suppliers.
  • Production Order Management and Engineering Order Management
    • Central interface for foundries regarding loading status and all other related supply chain management related topics in order to ensure satisfactory delivery performance.
    • Monitor foundry report and ensure correct execution of the order management process by the PPF.
    • Owner of standard work documentation for the order management process towards externals.
    • Manual support non-automatic order process, e.g. order confirmation, order change, manual PR for hot run or special service cost.
  • Monitor/Update Parameter/Factory Performance/Materials, escalate disconnects to plan
    • Yield, Cycle time, Test Time,
    • Conduct PDCA activities to continuously improve suppliers delivery KPI’s.
    • Capacity changes in the system
    • Monitor parameter variance tied to capacity change
  • Liaise and collaborate with EWM/EFM to resolve Foundry/Subcons’ execution issues and support logistics arrangement.
    • Drive performance from planning point of view
    • Be strong support partner but also be a critical partner on performance and execution
  • Collaborate key supply chain activities. Single contact window with 3PF/Subcon for SCM related issues. E.g.,
    • new equipment release (approval through release to production), productivity improvement plans, product qualification/ transfer schedules, NPI / NTI Safe Launch Plan and production ramp up
    • Coordinate between PPF and 3PF on issues such as sudden demand upside, urgent pull-in, wafer broken, quantity deviation, wrong shipments, quality, low yield, RMA.
    • Confirm the small lot/QA charge / Grinding / Sawing / expedite fees from Subcon.
    • Inform 3PF/Subcon on various notification, e.g. NXP holidays, system shutdown,etc.
  • Crisis Containment and Management
