Executive Officer I / II (carrying the job title of &lsquoManager (Finance & Support Services))

The appointee will work in the Finance and Development team under the Faculty and Planning Office, Faculty of Medicine, and will be responsible for (a) leading a team to perform a spectrum of accounting and finance duties including accounts transactions and scrutinisation, budget planning and procurement matters (b) compiling reports and data analysis for financial planning and control (c) liaising with internal and external stakeholders (d) managing building and office support matters (e) providing administrative and committee secretarial support and (f) performing other tasks as assigned.

Applicants should have/be (i) a Bachelor&rsquos degree, preferablyin Accounting or Finance (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: (iii) at least 8 years post-qualification executive experience (iv) proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) (v) proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint (vi) excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and attentiveness to figures and details and (vii) self-motivated, organised and a good team player. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test on Chinese and English proficiency. Those with less but at least 5 years relevant post-qualification executive experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer II.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
