Executive Officer/Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Department of Psychiatry (Ref.: 502868) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed term basis with contract end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should have a good Bachelor’s degree, with at least 2 years’ full-time work experience, preferably in event management in a tertiary institution . They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good communication, organization, and people management skills; IT competence; event coordination skills; and the ability to work independently and to multitask. They should be highly motivated to contribute towards the growth and development of a busy department. Those with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Assistant.
The appointee will play an active role in facilitating a number of strategic clinical and population-based projects to enhance mental health and early treatment of mental disorders in the community. He/She will handle administrative tasks relating to project planning, communications, human resources, and financial management; and provide support to the teaching, research, and clinical activities of the Department. Working outside normal office hours may be required occasionally.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
