Job summary
Amazon.com is looking for an exceptionally skilled Executive Assistant with superior career performance to support the Amazon International Expansion team. Come be a part of a multi-national team dedicated to expanding Amazon's retail offerings to new countries and continents. This role reports into the Vice President of Amazon International Expansion, but will also provide some support for the direct team. The nature of the team's work means this role will have frequent interaction with various teams across the company: Retail, Operations, Seller Services as well as International teams. You must have the ability to quickly learn organizational structure, team objectives and adapt to Amazon values and vision. Experience working with distributed teams and international timezones a plus. Some overtime required.
Activities include (but are not limited to):
  • Management of complex calendar and scheduling requirements aligning scheduling priorities across multiple C-level and VP-level executives

  • Responsible for developing day-to-day schedule and prioritization of activities, proactively identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts.

  • Streamline inbound/outbound communications maximizing productivity and ensuring all requests receive attention with the proper level of urgency

  • Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow-up on outstanding items.

  • Lead all administrative support functions, including organizing documents, meeting follow up and preparation, space planning, meeting agendas, org charts etc.

  • Managing international travel and expenses

  • Act as a liaison for direct reports

  • All other duties as assigned including special projects

  • Have fun and help others do the same


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of experience supporting senior management in a fast-paced environment
  • In-depth knowledge of administrative procedures and tools required to support an executive
  • Excellent PC skills, including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook tools. SharePoint experience preferred.
  • High degree of professionalism in dealing with senior professionals
  • React with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround. Ability to switch gears at a moment's noticeAbility to protect confidential and proprietary information using utmost discretion
  • Positive, proactive and able to always exercise great judgment
  • Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects, with little to no guidance, in a highly ambiguous and fast paced environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills, and team orientated philosophy
  • Impeccable attention to detail, time management and organizations skills


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Good business acumen that able to take meeting notes and own the tracking and follow up of the action plans.
Good project management skills.
Prefer to have employee engagement activities experience before.
