Identify causes of low yield through systematic analysis
Work closely with various engineering groups in resolving process/defects related issues
Perform physical failure analysis to understand the failure mechanism relating to assembly defects and fab process
Utilize statistical tools for detailed data analysis on product to drive yield improvement projects
Certify in and follow chemical safety procedures
Follow lab procedures
Utilize best known methods and develop new methods when necessary
Train and gain experience doing Physical Failure Analysis
Use internal training resources to become familiar with manufacturing processes and test flow
Develop and maintain positive customer relationships
Develop expert level skills using Focused Ion Beam (FIB), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM).
Work Shift and Hours flexibility (position requires day to night shift rotations in intervals of 4 months)
MSE, (Material Science, Chemical)
Demonstrate teamwork, self-development, drive for results, integrity, and trust.
Excellent organizational skills.
Great problem solving skills with the ability to work independently.
Highly motivated and goal-oriented
English speaking competency- strong written and verbal skills
