Participating in technology development, transfer, and ramp activities to meet yield, reliability, cost, and device performance goals.Driving and prioritizing integrated experiments to troubleshoot and optimize process flows.Owning particular sections of process flow, and responsible for its optimization, cost reduction, and performance improvement goals.Maintaining and driving process qualification matrix and deliverables.Lead factory defect baseline performance improvement and excursion prevention.Partnering with production and industrial engineering to optimize area processes.Presenting leadership on all process-related issues impacting Production and Yield.Ensuring change management is communicated and conducted efficiently with proper watching plan.Managing root cause analysis and creating plans for scrap and excursion abatement.Working with Process Engineering to improve process stability and capability as well as reduce defects.Exercising good judgment, sometimes with insufficient data, to determine appropriate action and mitigate integrated risks.Lead product Yield improvement by analyzing fab electrical and manufacturing data.Leading and participating on cross-functional project teams.Partnering with other areas, departments or sites to solve yield issues.Conducting industry wide research in scientific journals on semiconductor topics.Formulating theoretical explanations and models to problems based on scientific principles.Conducting data mining and investigating yield issues/excursions.Performing final electrical and inline data correlations to drive yield and performance improvements.Providing creative solutions to problems that are different than typical semiconductor problems.
