About the job
Defines, creates and executes integrated digital marketing programs supporting TI's [TECHNOLOGY / EE] brand efforts in China. The individual in this role will work closely with worldwide marketing team, regional sales, technical experts and other marketing teams to connect their must-own area with key products and innovations that support TI's leadership in this area. This individual will partner with multiple stakeholders to develop/localize a long-term strategy including, but not limited to, brand campaigns, intentional content plans, co-marketing opportunities with customers, and media outreach.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Brand marketing strategy: Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop/localize TI's long-term brand marketing plans for one of TI's must-own areas in China.
  • Brand campaign execution: Elevate TI through brand campaigns and initiatives that strengthen TI's perception in a must-own area, leading tactics including paid and owned media channels, content marketing, co-marketing, media relation and events, and collaborating on tactics like earned media and content.
  • Business alignment & understanding: Understand China market and transform business strategies into compelling brand strategies building relationships with technologists, regional sales leaders, and relevant technical experts.
  • Digital marketing alignment: Closely partner with relevant digital marketing teams to ensure consistency in all campaigns / promotions (brand and product) and technical content to further strengthen the brand.
  • Campaign analysis: Analyzes campaign tactics including channels, TI.com and content performance, reporting out to stakeholders and making optimizations based on data analytics.
  • Other tactical responsibilities include:
    • Develop a tailored China digital marketing strategy and promotion plan
    • Create China content strategy and plan
    • Collaborate with worldwide team to develop core positioning and messaging with the objective of creating technically credible and compelling deliverables
    • Work with PR agency to write copy for brand-level promotions
    • Understand the B2B audiences and China competitive landscape
    • Analyzes brand campaign performance and optimize as needed
    • Report progress to stakeholders
    • Manage budget


Minimum requirements:
  • Minimum BS/BA in Marketing, Business, Communications, Electrical/Computer Engineering or similar degree
  • Minimum five years of related experience
  • Confidence to counsel and influence partners across various organizations, including company executives, by building trust and communicating in a well-thought-out manner to influence outcomes and move projects forward
  • Strategic thinker and genuine excitement and curiosity of TI's technologies and devices comfortable with technical products and complex topics
  • Self-starter ability to proactively connect dots and ability to create global digital marketing strategy, prioritize action plans and work through ambiguity
  • Proactive and positive attitude with strong collaboration skills and team-/customer-focused mindset
  • Deep understanding of earned, paid and owned media channels, technical content and messaging tactics
  • Clear, concise communication skills for positioning, messaging and content creation, including fundamental copywriting skills
  • Strong knack for analyzing and interpreting data, driving meaningful actions and communicating relevant results to stakeholders
  • Excellent time-management skills to simultaneously drive on-time execution of multiple projects
  • Problem-solving aptitude to overcome obstacles that lead to impactful results

Preferred qualifications
  • Five years of digital marketing experience
  • Experience in the technology field, semiconductor industry preferred
  • Experience with earned media as well as paid and organicchannels
  • B2B, engineering, or related technical marketing experience
