AWS Premium Support provides technical solutions to a wide range of global customers as they build their mission-critical applications on top of AWS cloud services. As a member of the AWS Premium Support team in Taipei you will be at the forefront of this transformational technology. You will work with leading companies in this space and directly with the engineering teams within Amazon who are developing new capabilities.

. We operate on a follow-the-sun model - we work in the daytime/evening, and handover to other Premium Support sites during the night. Some shifts include staggered weeks, either Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday.
Responsibilities:
身為技術專家,您天皆會迎接新的挑戰,了解雲端務如何用在產業模的客戶端。電話郵件或網站等管深入客戶的題,用專業知識為客戶身打造解決方案,並執行故障排除。除了接觸到多樣化的使用情境外,您亦需指導其他新進分享技術文章和內部團隊作解決題或優化程,以完策略性的目標。
Every day will bring new and exciting challenges. You will be primarily responsible for solving customer's cases through a variety of contact channels which include telephone, email, and web/live chat. You will apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions for our customers and drive customer interactions by thoughtfully working with customers to dive deep into the root cause of an issue.
Apart from working on a broad spectrum of technical issues, an AWS Premium Support Engineer may also coach/mentor new hires, develop & present training, create technical articles or how-to videos for the developer community, partner with internal development teams on complex issues, participate in new hiring, write tools/scripts to help the team, or work with leadership on process improvement and strategic initiatives.
Basic Qualifications :
. Be familiar with any of the following skills: Hadoop, MapReduce, HDFS, YARN, Spark, Hive, Kafka, Presto, HBase
. Knowledge of Hadoop architecture and administration and support
. Basic Linux/Unix system administrator skills
. Basic programming/scripting skills. Ideally in Java or Python, but will consider experience in other Object Oriented and Functional languages
. Be able to read java code, and basic coding/scripting ability in Java, Perl, Ruby, C#, and/or PHP
. Understanding of networking principles and ability to troubleshoot (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP)
. Foundational knowledge of databases and Structured Query Language (SQL)
. Understanding of Virtualization and/or cloud computing
. Good understanding of security best practices
. Intermediate oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin
Preferred Qualifications :
. B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
. Experience in either technical support or software development
. Demonstrable Knowledge & experience in various Big Data or distributed systems. Such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Presto NoSQL
. Experience with Cloud Services and Cloud deployments
. Exposure specifically to AWS would be a plus
. Fluent oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin
