· Learn and use groundbreaking technologies
· Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to our customers dynamic needs
· Interact and collaborate with leading technologists around the world
· Work directly with Amazon Web Services Architects to help reproduce and resolve customer issues
· Use your experience to provide feedback to internal AWS teams on how to improve our services
· Drive customer communication during critical events
Basic Qualifications :
· iOS or Android development (Objective-C / Swift / Java)
· iOS or Android testing (Appium, Calabash, Instruments, UI Automator)
· Linux or Windows system administration skills
· Experience with web-based applications and HTTP
· Networking troubleshooting and protocols: DNS, HTTP, SSL, SMTP, TCP, SSH
· Knowledge of client/server and distributed systems architectures
· Experience scripting or developing in at least one of the following languages: Python, C/C++, JavaScript, PHP, NET (C#), Ruby, Java
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Customer service experience / strong customer focus
· Strong skills in multi tasks, analysis, and troubleshooting
· Motivated and excited to be learning about new technologies every day
· Open to working non-standard hours(no night shifts)
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in the following items would be a plus:
· iOS development
· Development against and working with REST API based services
· Prior working experience with AWS
· Cloud architecture patterns and distributed computing concepts
· Messaging and Queueing
· Security concepts / methodologies
· Iperf, MTR, traceroute, dig
· Linux/Windows system troubleshooting.
· Handling full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications
