Clerk II (holding the functional title of Executive Assistant) (2 posts) in the Department of Chemistry(Ref.: 503401) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree, and a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); appropriate level of IT skills (especially in MS Excel, Word, and Powerpoint); and good organizational and interpersonal skills. They should also have a strong sense of responsibility, the ability to perform multi-tasks, work independently and under pressure; be a good team players and attentive to details. Those with relevant work experience in tertiary institution are preferred.
For Post (A), applicants should have at least 3 to 4 years’ work experience in office administration. The appointee will handle undergraduate program administration including admission, course selection, timetabling, examination, student profile, course syllabus, and course evaluation; assist the Associate Head of Teaching in curriculum matters; and undertake other duties as assigned.
For Post (B), applicants should have at least 3 to 4 years’ work experience in office administration and event management. The appointee will assist in events/virtual events and outreach activities; maintenance of the Departmental website; provide general administrative support; and undertake other duties as assigned.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
