The pathfinding team is looking for candidates to work on evaluating the most advanced foundry technologies using design-technology co-optimization (DTCO) and performance, power, area (PPA) analysis. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on leading edge and define future technology nodes.
A typical project may combine more than one of the following (not limited to the ones listed below):

- Transistor-level SPICE simulations for small circuit / bit-cell and block level logic and memory
- Standard cell design and optimization for PPA
- Co-optimize advanced FEOL, MOL and BEOL architectures for optimal PPA
- Develop and quantify various PPA booster design arcs by working with technologists

A successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Deep knowledge of circuit topologies, standard cell architectures and PPA analysis
- Deep knowledge of one or more advanced memories at bit-cell, array, and macro-level
- Knowledge of parasitic RC extraction and circuit characterization using industry-standard EDA tools
- Experience in technology benchmarking using RO / delay-chain and other test circuits
- Proficient in programming and scripting languages like Python, Perl / TCL, or similar languages
- Good understanding of advanced semiconductor devices like FinFET, GAA etc
- Good problem solving and communication skills


Minimum Qualifications
- BS or MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related fields

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with technology and circuit pathfinding, and PPA analysis
- Good understanding of technology and design co-optimization (DTCO) tradeoffs
- Experience in transistor and block-level circuit design and simulation
- Experience with industry-standard EDA tools for layout, PEX, circuit simulation
- Design experience (logic and memory) in advanced CMOS process
- Experience in machine learning / reinforced learning / artificial intelligence
- Strong programming and scripting languages (Python, TCL, Perl)
- Good understanding of block-level PPA enhancement and the corresponding DTCO boosters is a plus
- Familiar with emerging technology trends and competitive landscape for both monolithic, advanced interconnect technologies, and 3D integration technologiesInside this Business Group
