Summary
Grissini, named after its famous freshly baked bread sticks, offers refined authentic flavours from the Campania region in southern Italy. Sourcing the freshest produce served in a convivial and unpretentious ambiance.
You will be:
• To supervise the assigned station and section in order to prepare a consistent, high quality product and ensure courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service that supports the outlet's operating concept and Hyatt International standards.
• Serves fresh food to the guests which is prepared a la minute, is consistent in quality, and which reflects the style of the outlet concept.
• Participates in planning menus and utilization of food surpluses and leftovers, taking into account probable number of guests, market conditions, popularity of various dishes and frequency of menu.
• Establish, control and maintain highest level of hygiene throughout the kitchens.
Qualifications
You should have:
• Minimum 2 years work experience as Demi Chef de Partie or 3-4 years as Chef Commis in a hotel or large restaurant.
• Qualification in Kitchen Production or Management will be an advantage.
• Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential.
• Basic Computer Skills in MS Office, and Recipe Maintenance System is preferred.
