Job Description

What You Will Do:
1. Develops and implements a global TDC wave plan across a broad set of categories to ensure portfolio turnover and spend review
2. Provides coaching and feedback on the Total Delivered Cost (TDC) sourcing process to build capability and mature practices across a global team
3. Identifies, develops, and implements global and regional sourcing strategies to reduce total delivered cost, mitigate headwinds, and improve security of supply. Develops and communicates sourcing strategy for approved alternate suppliers to achieve maximum value at both a regional and global level
4. Conducts global calls with category leaders around the world to ensure regional implementation and local execution
5. Effectively communicates strategies, results, and metrics to leadership teams as required
6. Develops contract strategies and effectively negotiates key commercial and supply positions for packaging to the benefit of Ecolab business requirements and goals. Identifies and negotiates global supply agreements where appropriate
7. Stays abreast of industry trends for assigned categories. Provides guidance and recommendations to business units in order to support margin and top line growth
8. Effectively implements strategic supplier strategies and initiatives. Develops business relationships at multiple levels within key supplier accounts to manage performance, quality improvement, productivity and service level
9. Escalates and engages appropriate supplier business leaders to address supply disruptions and constraints
10.Develops, aligns, and drives strategic projects to improve procurement processes, tools, and efficiencies
11.Implements purchasing infrastructure in conjunction with functions and supply chain to assure availability at required quality & costs levels
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry or related field.
2. More than 8 years of experience, and/or exposure in the field of procurement or supply chain.
3. Experience in Equipment procurement will be an added advantage
4. Preferred experience in the chemical/petrochemicals industry or related industries is a plus.
5. Demonstrated strong leadership experience general organizational knowledge, deep expertise in sub-functional as well as general expertise in function and strong knowledge of external market/best practices.
6. Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills in English. Mandarin or other regional languages are preferred.
7. High levels of autonomy, work ethic and drive.
8. Strong learning agility and accountability.
9. Ability to deal both strategically & tactically when necessary.
