Job Overview The Mgr of QC Strategic BD will be responsible for the following:
Demonstrating competence in qualifying, presenting, and demonstrating a wide range of expertise in internet, cloud, computer vision/voice technical areas:
  • Expert on cloud service business, (exp. Understand biz model difference between Azure, AWS, Google cloud, Oracle cloud and IBM)
  • Skillful at business plan and .ppt preparation
  • Master on data analysis especially for financial data
  • Staying current on all QC products and industry trends
  • Gaining competitive knowledge and understanding how to best position product and service offerings in new market sectors
  • Create QC Solution with focus on Advanced Software Technologies (typically multimedia focused) with both internal enabling technology as well as third party partnerships
  • Understand the Mobile Internet application roadmap and technology needs, and then be able to provide our solution to intercept their roadmap to create a win-win solution. Examples of these solutions including online shopping, security/payment, video

Managing the partnership cycle from the initial contact through to the close of the partnership engagement implementation
  • Developing a pipeline of qualified leads through personal initiative, planning, networking, marketing activities
  • Demonstrating effective customer-oriented negotiation skills, exceptional relationship building, qualifying skills, group presentation, and closing skills
  • Maintaining accurate and timely data in their internal customer database. Tracking and updating projects systematically
  • Achieving quarterly and annual business development and technology solutions targets with a strong focus on current technology partners and new customers
  • Developing and executing an annual plan including: target customers, activity metrics, and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Having the ability to identify strategic business opportunities developing a business and marketing plan

Minimum Qualifications Superior, outgoing, relationship builder personality. Strong executive presence with a polished and professional image
  • Strong communications skill. Ability to impress customers and develop trusted relationships with prospects, customers, team members, management, and industry influencers
  • Enthusiastic self-directed worker capable of working independently, as well as in small teams
  • Excellent time management skills and results-oriented
  • A team player. Someone comfortable in a highly collaborative, team-oriented culture
  • Travel will be required

Preferred Qualifications, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
  • Consulting firms, Investment Banking and BD background is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or above
  • Ability to travel up to 40%.
  • 5+ years of experience in Cloud Service and well understanding of Internet companies strategies and contacts
    8+ years of global leadership and customer facing experience in Business Development or Product Management or Engineering in related industry is preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree or above in a technical field or engineering.
  • MBA or other Master's degree in technical or engineering is a plus.
  • Experience in both Cloud Server and Semiconductor mobile is a strong plus
  • Experience in Mobile Internet service and application is a strong plus
  • Verbal fluency in English and Chinese
