We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Analyst.
Principal responsibilities :
This is key resource on Omni collection initiatives.
It is required to Co-locate with HK business and client implementation team in HK and do face-to-face meeting with external customers for on-site requirement gathering, and consultancy on QR code payment solutions. GLCM business is also planning to support various new HK Government tenders in 2021, which may also involve various on-site discussions with different government departments.
Interact with business to identify and document the initial requirement, perform feasibility analysis and POC.
Digest and elicit deep-down business requirement, conduct comprehensive analysis gap-analysis with the existing system and processes.
Interpret business requirement into functional, non-functional and technical requirements, document them comprehensively with a client sign-off.
Ensure that the functional information is appropriately conveyed to the technical teams as per project needs
Drive vendor and internal teams to provide qualified design.
Support SIT, UAT, regression, PAT, PVT and so on, analyze and fix the issues raised during the testing.
Provide production support on roster basis
Build-up comprehensive banking domain knowledge base. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and minimum 5 years of work experience specifically in IT hardware, software, operations and networks.
Be able to communicate with foreigner in English fluently.
Familiar with cash management.
Proven experience worked in an agile software development environment.
Proven experience in the HSBC business environment or an IT role
Some analysis experience and knowledge of structured techniques and Group standards
Demonstrated ability to rapidly build relationships with key stakeholders and
A good knowledge of IT hardware, software, operations and networks.
Certified Business Process Associate (CBPA®) is a big plus.
Certificate in International Cash Management is a big plus.
Due to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.
