Job Summary
Project management and co-ordination of civil infrastructure projects
Prepare engineering design including roadworks, utilities, drainage / sewerage / water supply, etc.
Conduct technical assessments and report preparation
Coordinate amongst project teams and clients to facilitate project implementation
Supervise junior engineers in terms of work allocation, training, and problem resolution
Participate in technical proposal preparation, prepare tender documents and tendering assistance
Participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
Carry out duties in accordance with quality and environmental management system, health and safety policies and procedures, report any potential risk and problem to immediate supervisor
Minimum Requirements
A recognized degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent
Corporate member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers or equivalent in relevant disciplines or equivalent - Minimum 10 and 5 years post-qualification experience in project management / design of civil infrastructure projects for Associate and Senior Engineer respectively. Candidates with less experience may be considered for a Project Engineer or Engineer position.
Strong oral and writing abilities in both Chinese (Cantonese and / or Putonghua) and English
Strong sense of leadership and accountability
Strong analytical skills, ability to identify problems and propose solutions
Self-motivated with high personal drive for achieving targets and business goals
Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Candidate with no professional qualification would be considered as Assistant Engineer.
