Our Markets business is one of the largest of its kind in the world. It combines sophisticated 24- hour global coverage with a detailed knowledge of local markets. Our services are offered both online and offline in more than 60 countries and territories worldwide. We specialise in foreign exchange, credits and rates, structured derivatives, equities and debt, equity and equity-linked capital markets.
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Associate.
Principal Responsibilities
  • The Capital Markets group consists of Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Equity Capital Markets (ECM), Strategic Equity & Financing (SEF), Leveraged & Acquisition Finance (LAF), Corporate Risk Solutions (CRS), Strategic Solutions Group (SSG) and Issuer Services (ISV)
  • The Capital Markets group is in turn, part of the broader Capital Financing & Investment Banking Coverage (CFIBC) construct at HSBC
  • Specific responsibility for FIG DCM in Hong Kong
  • The Capital Markets group consists of Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Equity Capital Markets (ECM), Strategic Equity & Financing (SEF), Leveraged & Acquisition Finance (LAF), Corporate Risk Solutions (CRS), Strategic Solutions Group (SSG) and Issuer Services (ISV)
  • The Capital Markets group is in turn, part of the broader Capital Financing & Investment Banking Coverage (CFIBC) construct at HSBC
  • Specific responsibility for FIG DCM in Hong Kong
  • Assist HK teams in the preparation of pitches and other marketing material for public and private bond transactions
  • Assist with pricing updates and trade ideas
  • Assist in all aspects of deal origination and execution
Qualifications
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, related field, or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of capital markets is preferred
  • Motivated, detail oriented, reliable individual with strong technical skills
