Job Your role
- handle day to day sanctions escalations covering APAC
- review alerts generated by the sanctions filter
- executed and coordinate sanctions controls
- perform investigations on potential sanctions breaches
- assist in various regulatory enquiries, onsite inspection and ad hoc surveys
- work closely with other regional counterpart to roll out global sanctions initiatives

Your team
You'll be working in the APAC Sanctions team in Hong Kong reporting directly to the APAC Head of Sanctions. Our role is to provide high quality professional sanctions advices to UBS entities in APAC.
Your expertise
at least 3-5 years in relevant sanctions/AML/regulatory environment
. good communication and interpersonal skills, and have the ability to think out of the box
. able to critically, assess and challenge documentation with an independent mindset
. reliable, resilient and capable of independently dealing with business and key stakeholders (challenging situations and conversations don't scare you)
. fluent in English and good ability in reading Chinese
