We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Analyst, FIG Investment Banking.
Principal Responsibilities
  • Based in Hong Kong as part of HSBC's regional Financial Institutions Group investment banking team which advises HSBC's financial institutions and fin-tech companies on their strategic transactions
  • Assist senior bankers in the origination and the execution of a variety of transactions, including Merge and Acquisition, ECM, DCM, financing solutions
  • Conduct industry research, company business and financial analyses. Prepare presentations and other internal and external materials
  • Develop financial projection and valuation models, as well as financing, comparative and pro forma analyses
  • Interact with clients and various levels of management, and act as an integral part of the client coverage team
  • Contribute to the achievement against targets for revenue generation, product alignment and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Requirements
  • Experience in investment banking transactions
  • Bilingual proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English
  • Strong understanding of the capital markets and the financial industry. Familiarity with fin-tech would be a plus
  • Knowledge of financial modelling and valuation
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • High achieving and very motivated
  • Commitment to learning new capabilities and open-mindedness
