Administrative Assistant II (holding the functional title of Assistant Director) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 502947) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years’ full-time work experience, preferably in alumni affairs, networking and fundraising. Prior work experience in higher education sector will be an advantage. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese), and sound interpersonal and communication skills. They should be self-motivated with strong initiatives, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. They should also have outstanding organizational skills, the ability to work on multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines, and sound knowledge of computer software applications, preferably with experience in database management and social media platform. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
The appointee will work on management of regular alumni engagement and oversee the implementation of alumni and fundraising activities in Hong Kong and Mainland China. He/She will be required to execute the development and engagement strategy, maintain strong lines of communications with alumni and supporters, nurture giving culture for the Faculty and perform any other duties as assigned. He/She may be required to travel occasionally and work on weekends. Those who have responded to the previous advertisement (Ref.: 502613) need not re-apply.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefit.
