To assist in providing professional support related to the promotion of values education such as school networking activities, curriculum development project, and curriculum review;
To assist in the development, tryout and evaluation of the learning and teaching resources in collaboration with frontline teachers of primary and secondary schools;
To assist in processing and analysing the information in the data bank of news reports, commentaries, feedback from various stakeholders and the public for the reference of senior management and relevant committees, departments, etc.;
To develop and review the web materials on values education;
To assist in handling enquiries and feedbacks in relation to values education from various stakeholders and the public received from the Government and related committees; and
To perform other duties related to the day-to-day operations as required.
A bachelor's degree obtained from a university/tertiary education institutes in Hong Kong, or equivalent, preferably with major in related fields, such as Chinese/English Language, Education, Translation, Humanities, Psychology and Sociology;
A Postgraduate Certificate in Education obtained from a Hong Kong university/tertiary education institutes, or equivalent;
Proficiency in Chinese and English languages; Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKCEE;
At least 4 years' relevant post-degree experience in teaching primary or secondary school or school support services, or curriculum design or curriculum resources development; and
Proficiency in handling MS Office software, such as word processing, spreadsheet and presentation.
To provide IT support for the enrollment of courses, including handling school applications, facilitation data transfer with course providers and other stakeholders;
To assist in the provision of funding for courses, including collecting and verifying information submitted by schools and course providers, calculating grants and preparing reports for schools,
To assist in the ongoing enhancement of the electronic administrative systems and maintenance of the APL Website;
To assist in organizing events for dissemination of good practice, including meetings and workshops for course providers;
To assist in various public relation functions and communications with stakeholders;
To assist in the compilation of document and research data from various educational projects and tasks related; and
To perform any other duties as required for enhancing the quality of education in schools.
A Hong Kong bachelor’s degree, or equivalent; preferably with the language proficiency requirements of Level 3 (Note) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Grade C in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent
Mastery of IT application in workplace, in particular, in information and data processing ;
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency of using Excel database (Searching, drawing and calculation)
Immediate available is preferred
