Job Description
• Provide daily level 2/3 7 x 24 technical support in Unix(AIX, HP UX, Solaris, Linux), Enterprise Storage (EMC VMAX, EMC VNX, HP 3Par, NetAPP and IBM 88xx storage), SAN (Brocade, CISCO and MCDATA)

• Provide project management expertise and implementation support to Critical Unix Infrastructure and Storage solution

• Provide leadership in leading daily support teams and mentoring junior staffs

• Provide 2nd to 3rd tier support and administration of Critical Unix Infrastructure and Storage solution

• Develop procedures and manuals to enhance operational efficiency

• Prepare reports, technical documents, implementation proposals and user’s manual

• Responsible for investigating and diagnosing production issues or outages

• In-depth understanding of ITIL Processes , specifically Change , Incident and Problem Management

• On-call support required to provide support services as required

• Provide technical solution design to Critical Infrastructure and provide tender responses

• Degree holder in IT or related disciplines is a must

• Minimum total 3 years of relevant experiences including at least 1 of the following skills of products and technologies

o Hands on experiences in the setup and support on AIX, HP UX, Solaris, Linux etc

o Sound knowledge and skill in managing storage infrastructure (Brocade, CISCO and MCDATA)

o hand on experiences of Storage System(EMC VMAX, EMC VNX, HP 3Par, NetAPP and IBM 88xx storage)

o have knowledge on Storage Replication and Snapshot Technology like (EMC MirrorView, SRDF, EMC SnapView etc)

o have knowledge on OS Cluster Technology, like (PowerHA, VCS, Redhat Cluster, Sun Cluster etc)

o Hand on experiences of Monitoring Technology and Centralize batch job handling system (OpenView and Control M)

o Experienced in any commercial backup tools (Netbackup, EMC Networker, IBM TSM, HP DataProtector)

• Holder of Certificates of above technologies is preferred

• Solid knowledge of high availability computing is a must

• Good understanding of Multi-Tier Application Infrastructure is a plus

• Solid experiences in change, incident and problem management

• Customer focus skills
