Job Description

Job Purpose:
  • The role of Relationship Manager is to manage key relationships for business stakeholders and internal partners. Core to the role will be a focus on positive client experience as part of the 2020 vision for HR. This role will also provide leadership and direction to the assigned HR Professional Services Team


Key Responsibilities:

Business Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as they key advocate for multiple stakeholders across business/functional areas and support them in leveraging wider HR services
  • Review quality of stakeholder interactions and deliver regular progress reports on status and opportunities
  • Gather quarterly stakeholder feedback and share with HR partners and COEs
  • Implement new methods and approaches that drive a positive client experience using currently available metrics and reporting to support proposals
  • Proactively communicate to the business and act as a key escalation point for stakeholders


HR Partner Engagement:
  • Lead and drive HRPS HRG PH and ensure alignment with global HRPS. The focus should be on solving issues or challenges collectively rather than independently
  • Oversee and proactively partner with Country HR driving strong connectivity, clarity on work allocation toward an improved client experience
  • Proactively partner with key HRG RMs/ HRAs and COEs regionally and globally to improve role clarity and client experience
  • Actively gather/share quarterly feedback with HRAs/COEs and provide suggestions for improvement
  • Lead and actively participate in various engagement forums with HRAs and COEs providing content and proposals that drive awareness and decision making


Team Leadership and Engagement:
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the regional APAC team to drive and stabilize the change. Provide leadership and direction in line with the 2020 vision for HR, to country HRGs
  • Work with the CHRO to articulate and embed the employee value proposition for HRPS
  • Build and develop a sustainable team of HRGs through successful pipelining, hiring, on-boarding and integration that delivers superior coverage for clients
  • Oversee the daily operation of HRG team to ensure they are delivering against key HR and business requirements. Fundamental to this is developing the capability of the team e.g. developing business acumen of the team to ensure they can provide critical and well informed advice to their business
  • Develop the HR Generalist within HRPS environment and provide career paths for HRGs within and outside of HRPS
  • Serve as part of the HRPS SLT and regularly engage with colleagues across the other HRPS sites globally. Provide leadership and direction in line with the 2020 vision for HR to country HRGs


Operational Excellence:
  • Play a key role in the change process for our new technology Workday and support our teams and our business in utilization of the same
  • Play a key role in leading change as part of the global process owner activity, as assigned
  • Partner with the HR COEs to provide suggested process improvements for key annual cycle activities
  • Ongoing review of the HRPS work content and migration/right placement of processes in partnership with HR COEs and HRSS
  • Drive and support operational excellence within the team and on cross team initiatives locally, regionally and globally


Business Coverage:
  • Define and design the approach to key annual cycle activities for the assigned groups in APAC (initially covering PH country) across multiple businesses, driving to common where possible


Provide business coverage end to end for the client coverage including but not limited to:
  • Annual cycle activities - Performance Management, Talent, Year End
  • Employee Relations
  • Restructuring and Change Management
  • Reward and Compensation Reviews
  • Resourcing Support
  • Learning Agenda
  • Diversity and Inclusion
