We are looking for someone who is energetic, resourceful, interested in how technology is changing market places, someone who is resilient and can work in a fast-paced, dynamic market. The role will require negotiation skills, strong relationship skills, the ability to dive in and problem solve and work with the international marketing team to find innovative ways to reach the B2B market.
The Event Associate will be responsible for delivering events including conferences, webinars, user groups and seminars for both Laserfiche and for our Value Added Resellers around the world. The individual should have experience in working with different kinds of events in locations around the world. They should be comfortable working with different cultures and with remote events. They should be a self-starter, should be able to take on events and deliver with limited supervision.
  • Create project plans for events and deliver those events on-time and on-budget to ensure that they deliver to the objectives.
  • Work with the marketing teams in the International and Global Headquarters as well as other stakeholders like Value Added Resellers to develop an event plan and the supporting integrated marketing initiatives to support those events.
  • Formulate event concepts and innovative programs for various small and large scale events
  • Overseeing and managing all stages of events including vendor procurement to management and budget management
  • Invite guest speakers andwork with a wide range of sponsors, suppliers, speakers, internal and external contractors
  • Coordinate with production teams to executeevent promotion

Skills
  • Degree holder in marketing, communications or related field.
  • 1-2 years’ event experience, outstanding graduate with event internship experiencealso welcomed.
  • Good understanding of B2B marketing in the technology or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and interpersonal skill
  • Well-organized, self-starter with a strong sense of determination and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Exposure to a regional or global role is preferred. Understanding of global markets and culture is a must
  • Strong English skills required
