organise PR events and publicity campaigns of the District in particular for M+ and Hong Kong Palace Museum; coordinate with arts and cultural programme partners or other government organisations for joint PR collaborations;
liaise with media/KOLs from Hong Kong, PRC and overseas; organise media/KOL events and familiarisation visits; handle media enquiry and interviews; responsible for media monitoring, coverage analysis and reporting, and database management;
prepare communications collaterals including press releases, fact sheets, presentation materials, etc and other writing assignments if required;
assist in message development and media handling in crisis communications and issues handling;
work with external agencies, outsourced vendors and business partners on public relations and communications initiatives as necessary; and
drive and execute ad-hoc communications projects when required.
possess a recognised university degree or above in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or related discipline;
have at least 3 years of relevant and solid experience in public relations, media relations, crisis communications and issues management, corporate communications, events management, and internal communications;
have solid experience in events management and publicity campaigns;
have sound knowledge of social media;
have strong interpersonal and communications skills, good team player, multi-tasking, able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure, creative and dynamic;
able to execute projects independently with guidance to achieve the communications goals; and
have excellent written and spoken English and Chinese; proficient in Putonghua.
