If you are based in Hong Kong with experience working for an international multi-faceted organisation with over fifteen years of work experience in Human Resources, please send me your resume.
This incumbent would be responsible for leading a large team including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, training and development as well as general HR operational matters across Hong Kong and the China/PRC region however with minimal travel.
The preferred candidate should possess experience working with an International corporation, managing a team of at least five people or more, exposure to remotely managing teams in China and a solid understanding of Hong Kong and China labour laws. A strong understanding of the engineering and construction markets across these regions would be an advantage.

Responsibilities in brief:
  • Assisting all rounded HR functions, including compensation & benefits, employee relations and retention, talent acquisition and management, resources management and planning, performance management, training and development, records management, HR information system, compliance.
  • Maintaining responsibility for organizational compliance with Hong Kong and Chinese laws and regulations pertaining to all human resources matters, such as employment legislation, payroll, tax, etc.
  • Assisting in adhoc HR projects and HRIS system related integration and projects assigned by the senior management.
  • The project management senior management and C Suite level roles with regards to recruitment and talent management.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related disciplines is essential
  • Minimum of 15 years of HR experience preferably in able organizations in which at least 8 years at a managerial level.
  • Familiar with Hong Kong Employment Ordinance, PRC Labor Contract Law and other HR related legislation.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • An understanding of technical terminology with reference to the construction and engineering sectors in Asia is preferred.
