Role Synopsis
The sales manager is an important role in sales team to support Manager of sales in customer relationship maintenance, new customer development.

Key Accountabilities
  • Support Manager of Sales in developing sales strategies, including customer portfolio optimization, pricing strategy, spot sales and purchase tactics and colocation account development plan, etc. To make the company distinctive and preferred in China market.
  • Manage 3-5 key accounts in East China to ensure smooth execution of term sales contracts.
  • Maintain robust relationship through regular communication with customers decision-makers and procurement personnel; Negotiate/communicate with customers on price, volume and shipping schedules based on sales plan and target. Closely monitor customers operation/sales, raw material sourcing and financial status. Handling customer complaints if any.
  • Be a role model in compliance and code of conduct, such as anti-trust, ABC, AML, etc. Be alert in managing risks along with daily operation to mitigate potential market risk and credit risk.
  • Support Manager of Sales to maintain sales administrative databases, such as various planning and records, supply grid, cost-to-serve management, customer profiles, etc. Prepare presentation slides for monthly business review or other internal meetings.
  • Collect and consolidate dynamics and intelligence about market, support the wider commercial team to better understand the market and react timely.
  • Develop new customers based on business needs in East China.
  • Support CI team, logistics team and other internal functions to achieve business target.
  • Other ad hoc tasks assigned by senior leaders.


Essential Education
  • Bachelor or Master's degree.

Experience
  • Demonstrate a strong track record in sales and account management in the Petrochemicals industry
  • Experience in commodity physical and futures trading is a plus
