Associate(Dev) The cross asset technology role is for a talented Oracle PL/SQL, Unix scripting, VBA and Excel Application Developer. Also, familiar with Agile methodology and have a good understanding of SDLC within Reg team based in Hong Kong and partnering with teams globally. The Application Developer will be responsible for all aspects of systems development and testing, ensuring compatibility with enterprise and solutions architecture.
The role will require liaising with business (Corporate Controllers, Capital Controllers, Regulatory reporting, Quants) and technology counterparts in all lines of Business across the globe during Requirements, Development, Testing, Implementation & Post-production phase of the project.
You will develop a good understanding of End to End business processes.

Front-office/risk management business knowledge as well as knowledge of financial instrument features and trade processing would be an advantage.
Financial Engineering knowledge and familiarity with risk and regulatory systems and the data flows.
Financial products knowledge such as OTC Derivatives, Securities, Repos, Securitization would be an advantage.
III. Required Skills
Substantial experience in hands-on development experience working with a mix of enterprise development technologies across different platforms (Unix and Wintel) and RDBMS (Oracle and SQL Server), and strong Oracle PL/SQL skills
Experience in development using XML, Perl , Linux shell script programming
Experience with Data integration or ETL tools like Informatica, Pentaho and Scheduling tools like Autosys, Control-M or Cron jobs.
Knowledge of KingDee and YonYou programming
Understanding of Regulatory Landscape across various Jurisdictions eg Fed mandates, PRA etc.
Experience in China Securities Business and CSRC reporting
Familiar with development tools such as Jenkins, Rundeck, SVN/Crucible/Jira, Git/Stash, etc
Deep understanding of, and passion for, SDLC processes and automated tools, spanning requirements/issue management, defect tracking, source control, build automation, test automation and release management.
Experience with Agile methodology (SCRUM, LEAN) is desirable.
Relational data modelling using Oracle SQL Developer or Sybase Power designer
