Key deliverables:
  • Drive and coordinate strategies (including location) and objectives on behalf of the Regional Head
  • Oversee the delivery of Business Services objectives working closely with the Global Team
  • Own and drive the yearly strategic planning process ensuring alignment of Business Services functions with business needs
  • Own and drive the on-going management activity that supports the day to day running of the function (e.g. management meetings, quarterly reviews, expense updates, Town Hall planning etc.)
  • Work closely with the GBM Business Services Change Manager to ensure the change portfolio is tightly aligned to the business strategy and plans
  • Monitor actual / projected expense levels versus budgets and manage expense control procedures for GBM Business Services
  • Identify and implement cost savings and administrative/internal controls
  • Define and implement governance structure, procedures and financial reporting measures
  • Manage People Management activities, Resource and Succession Planning
  • Manage quality improvement benchmarking, and efficiency programs so that economies of scale and the benefits of consistency are realized
  • Handel management & leadership of Regulatory, Compliance & Operational Risk teams

For this role you will have:
  • A degree holder with 8+ years of functional experience in the retail banking space
  • Strong project management skill
  • Strong client service, leadership and management ability
  • Proven ability to prioritising competing demands
  • Excellent analysis, design and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and communicate and negotiating effectively with business heads
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain global relationships
  • Proven business and operational experience
  • Exceptional organisational, planning and management skills
  • Good commercial and financial management ability with proven track record and experience in a service company type model
  • Proven ability to distil complex and varied data into simplified information
  • Highly analytical, meticulous and well-organized professional
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
