Job Description:

The PM is responsible for end to end solution development and deployment to company branded joint ventures. This position has the following accountabilities:

• Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close all aspects of the project lifecycle

• IT budget management – control project costs, contracts, deliver within budget;

• Prepare and maintain the project plan and time scales – control project time-scales, manage risks & issues, deliver on time; preparation of timely and accurate PMO reports;

• Resource management and development – direction, motivation, training and decision support to project staff; Develop the skills of team members through coaching and delegation.

• Manage vendor’s delivery quality and timeline, perform necessary assurance & controls, including evaluating vendor’s solution and quotation.

• Rigorously manage scope through a structured change management process to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters with focus on delivering the business benefits.

• Proactively analyze risks and variances against plan to assess trends threatening agreed scope, time, cost, and quality commitments. Identify signs that a project may be at risk and escalate quickly and appropriately.

• Partner with business stakeholders to define JV readiness checklist, success metrics and criteria and to identify, measure, and track planned vs. achieved benefits. Engage JV project team to ensure JV level changes properly planned and executed

• Establish and maintain appropriate and effective Governance structures and procedures to obtain resources, drive decisions, resolve issues, and deliver project objectives.

Skills & Requirements:

• Prefer Mandarin speaking and good command of English

• A very good understanding of Payment/Retail related processes and systems will be advantages

• Agile project experience.

• Professional certifications related to project management (e.g. PMP (preferred) or Prince 2 Practitioner).

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Strong stakeholder management skills - including experience driving decision and commitment across different functional teams

• Experience in leading a distributed team and successfully delivering medium to high complex IT projects

• Must have a "Team attitude", be self-motivated and be willing to support other groups and projects when required.

• Travel: 20-30%

• Typical Years of Experience: 10+ years in IT with some IT leadership experience

• Typical Project Size: 5-10 FTE
