We are hiring a Legal Counsel (Dispute Resolution) on behalf of a Listed Financial group with below requirements
Advising senior management and business units in commercial and finance service related contentious matters and pre-litigation matters.
Handling litigation, arbitration matters and regulatory actions. Developing and driving litigation strategy and tactics.
Partnering with the business units to identify potential litigation risks and solutions.
Retaining, directing, and managing external counsel as required.
Providing ad-hoc legal advice and support on any company initiatives.
A HK qualified lawyer with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in reputable law firm or corporate legal departments.
Extensive experience in commercial and corporation dispute resolution work.
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Mandarin is a must.
Commercially-minded, practical, responsive and focused on problem-solving, with proven success not only in identifying legal and regulatory risks, but in finding workable solutions to enable the business to operate efficiently and intelligently.
Excellent communication skills, people oriented, self-driven and able to interact effectively with business units.
Ability to work proactively and independently with medium supervision under tight deadlines.
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, mature attitude and able to multi-tasks.

Complaints Management- addressing customer complaints at the branch, system updation, coordination with Sales/HUB/ other functions for resolution.
Refunds processing and dispatch
Undelivered policy documents tracking and management.
Maintenance of all files and registers.
New Business Processing:-
Handling end to end New business processing starting from creation of Client id,Case start up, New business login, Follow up for policy issuance, Quality Check
Follow up with HUB for policy issuance of pending cases
