Job Description :

Corporate Secretarial Management
  • Review of cosec documentation e.g. directors and shareholders resolutions, AGM papers, etc.
  • Coordination of cosec documentation between local cosec agents and various Amgen affiliates and internal stakeholders for signatures, filing with local companies’ registries, cosec agents, etc.
  • Maintenance of cosec documentation on Amgen internal records system e.g. register of directors, JAPAC affiliates, etc.

Contracts Management
  • Maintenance of Amgen JAPAC Law Group’s contracts templates library
  • Drafting, proof-reading, formatting, scrubbing of contracts and other legal documentation
  • Maintenance and archival of originals and copies of material JAPAC contracts
  • Coordination with Amgen Global Law Group and other Amgen affiliates/ stakeholders on contract templates, originals and signatures

Project Management
  • Coordination and tracking of various open matters/ initiatives led by Amgen JAPAC Law Group
  • Formatting, scrubbing of PowerPoint training slides

General Administration
  • Management of Amgen JAPAC Law Group’s external law firms and cosec agents e.g. engagement terms, budget, payment expenses, etc.
  • Coordination, record-keeping of Amgen JAPAC Law Group monthly meetings, etc.
  • Travel coordination, expense reports, etc.

Qualifications
  • Prior experience as paralegal/ legal assistant at a law firm or in-house law department
  • Law degree/ diploma or equivalent qualifications preferred
