IT Engineer (Media) A MNC specialized on advertising and media is looking for an IT Engineer
Acts as key/ initial contact for incidents/ problems and to escalate, if necessary for incident/problem management and resolution. Ensure incidents, problems and root cause actions are properly managed and delivered, by working in close collaboration with Operations team and Regional IT team
Monitors key IT performance metrics. Ensure operational risks are identified and mitigated
Ensure optimal network connectivity and health. Provide feedback on network performance and improvement activities to reduce downtime and lower repair costs
Determine the maintenance and capacity planning of the network and systems
IT systems & data backup and recovery, participate in Disaster Recovery and BCP responsibilities
Work with Projects/ Operations team to properly install digital media including screens and players in accordance to set procedures, guidelines and standards
Ensure digital media assets are adequately maintained for smooth and sustainable operations, including maintenance of digital parts inventory to support maintenance programme
Follow established IT and Digital Operations processes to ensure consistency and standardization
Exercise preventive maintenance schedules and protocols for troubleshooting of Network and digital media assets
IT Security: Provide education and user awareness on cyber-security threats; Monitor and manage IT security posture within organization; Patching of all applicable devices, systems and appliances
Work closely with Regional HQ to oversee and determine timeframes for IT/digital projects including system updates, upgrades, and migrations
Working with peers, key stakeholders and Regional IT Team to deliver excellent IT services and service recovery when facing outages
Ensure prudent and cost consciousness IT spending when performing hardware refresh and repair activities
3 - 5 years IT support and maintenance experience, media and advertising industry and working with Cloud/SaaS technologies
Contribute as team members in IT/ Application projects
Linux System administration (Installation, Configuration and Troubleshooting of Linux environment)
Deep knowledge in End User Computing and IT Infrastructure administration
Experienced in Incident and Problem Management
Demonstrable experience of supporting critical applications working to tight deadlines
Motivated, proactive & independent; anticipates problems and works effectively within teams (locally as well as regionally)
Good communication skills with experience managing a number of different stakeholders (IT as well as business)
Fluent English and Cantonese speaking and writing

New Business Processing:-
Handling end to end New business processing starting from creation of Client id,Case start up, New business login, Follow up for policy issuance, Quality Check
Follow up with HUB for policy issuance of pending cases
