Job Description
  • Sets direction of the full range of financial functions in the organization whilst working closely with Finance Director/Financial Controller to determine the top down plan as required.
  • Deals directly (or through corporate finance) with lending institutions and other sources of outside funding or credit.
  • Directs one or more of the following functions:
               - Preparation of Management Accounts;
               - Reporting of Key Financial Data
               - Cash Flow Management
               - Management of Foreign Currency
               - Management of External Audit
               - Management of Tax Planning
  • Evaluates economic and business conditions and presents solutions to problems for which there is no established approach.
  • Involves in the development and implementation of new accounting systems to improve business financial reporting.
  • Manages the over-all profit-sharing plans by determining investment policy.
  • Conducts related studies on other accounting and financial infrastructure’s effectiveness.
  • Spearheads Ad hoc projects and business analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics or finance from a reputable school preferably with advanced studies and with continuous learning. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification.
  • With 10 to 15 years experience or involvement in Financial Accounting and Management programs and projects; at least 5 years of which is in managerial capacity gained from a multinational company.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • SAP experience desired but not essential.
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Can deal with all types/levels of people
  • With good analytical ability
  • Can effectively deal with employees from all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledgeable of different financial strategies and interventions.
  • With excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer literate
  • Willing to work in Clark/Cebu and travel inland and abroad
