Our client is a reputable Japanese supermarket in Hong Kong. They are currently looking for a Business Analyst for their rapid growing HK business. You will be working closely with internal parties to conduct market research and in-depth quantitative analyses

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
  • Monitor key trends and developments of the Global and Hong Kong retail market
  • Support on-the-ground researches on an as-need basis including surveys/ focus groups
  • Support projects in areas including but not limited to exploring new business opportunities (Digital and non-digital)/ process and business transformation/ research papers
  • Conduct market research, in-depth quantitative and qualitative analyses for new store projects/ new business model/ initiatives for business enhancement
  • Work closely with other departments and management team to formulate strategy, make actionable recommendations and follow through to implementation of these initiatives


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in business/ economics related discipline
  • 2 years’ or above experience in commercial sector or consulting/ advisory services
  • Working experience in retail operations is highly preferred
  • Solid quantitative skills – ability to run analyses independently
  • Proficiency in PC applications - MS Office and Chinese word-processing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
