Position: Assistant Logistics Manager

The Role:
This is a unique opportunity to join our customer, a fast paced, luxury Skincare Company that has been enjoying unprecedented growth in both US and international markets including China. The primary focus of this role is to provide inventory support to business by managing the right process and execution.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
  • In charge of the whole process from US warehouse to local DC, covering 3PL (Customs agency/ Forwarder/DC) management, Inventory management, process improvement and cost control.
  • Demand prediction and order planning in line with financial plan, ensuring to balance actual sales fluctuation and inventory availability.
  • Closely monitor inventory movement upon sales usage and future prediction to indicate potential less/ over stock risks as early as possible to mitigate financial loss.
  • Set the whole process from manufacture to local DC, including ocean freight, Customs clearance, CIQ, transportation and DC inbound.
  • Identify cost / lead time improvement initiatives and drive the improvement activities through the whole supply chain team.
  • Make sure importation lead time meet target and resolve all related issues with Customs and local CIQ.
  • Prepare quarterly forecast and update monthly cost analysis on ocean, Customs clearance, transportation and inbound.


Skills / Experience Required:
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in an international logistics, transport, customs, or trade department/function.
  • Demonstrated excellence in working with external consultants and service providers, and in leading cross-functional teams in ensuring compliance with import and export regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of Customs procedures, trade compliance and FTZ/BLP/BLC operation rules.
  • Good knowledge for the operation process for import handling as well as the documentation compliance.
  • Good communication and team work spirit
  • Able to work under pressure and take challenge to support business fast development.
