Job Description
Applications Engineer, APAC

(Home-based office)

Responsibilities:

•Troubleshoot product and design difficulties at the tier 2 technical support level via phone and email with customers

•Provide service and support on projects, including programmiing support, on-site support, and/or remote support to completion

•Provide input and guidance on the creation of technical documentation

•Participate in design and improvement process

•Perform functional and system testing of product features and functions

•Coordinate data across teams to create coherent products and communication with customers

•Manage case information in case tracking system; enters, updates and creates return authorizations

•Provides pre- and post-sales support and assist in resolving customer issues

•Travel to provide remote training sessions, troubleshooting assitance and occasionally attends trade shows

•Prepare and deliver webinars on technical topics

•Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

•Bachelor Degree or equivalent education or experience

•Minumum 4-6 years or above experience in providing audio technical support, audio design and audio equipment set-up

•Experience within China, Hong Kong, Korean and/or Japanese AV industries

•Advanced knowledge of audio DSP technology

•Knowledge of VoIP/SIP highly preferred

•Certified Technical Specialist (CTS) certification or approved AV industry certification

•Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or other approved networking certification a plus

•Strong presentation, organization, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills

•Excellent in spoken and written English and Cantonese, Mandarin is preferred

•Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint

•Independent, able to multi-task and be flexible in a dynamic work environment
