About our Client

Our client is a Hong Kong publicly listed conglomerate that has over HK$500 billion turnover and over 50,000 staff across Greater China region. With a portfolio of acclaimed subsidiaries in retail and hotels, shopping malls, serviced apartments and infrastructure, they are seeking for a Visual Merchandising Manager to cope with their business expansion.

About the Role

Reporting to the VM director and leading a team of 2, you will be responsible for the implementation and creation/development of visual merchandising across Hong Kong and China. Working with the creative and event team, you are required to standardise and develop the visual merchandising guidelines and overall direction and adhere to the brand image and style of the company. As an individual, you will communicate and train the local teams on design concepts, visual display standards and proper maintenance of the overall visual display effort. Lastly, you should monitor competitor's promotions to formulate effective recommendation for the brand.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Degree in visual merchandising, fashion styling or related field
  • Preferably 5 years and above of relevant supervisory or management experinece in retail or luxury retail
  • Solid organization skills, planning, project management and time amangement
  • Possies excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong creative clair and effective problem solving abilities
  • Ability to multi-task and work with tight timeline
  • Motivated, positive attitde and with an eye for detail
  • Keen sense of fashion and a passion for the fashion industry
  • Good command in English or Chinese
  • Less experienced candidates will be considered as Assistant VM Manager
