Managing Editor and Content Strategist
Tink labs is looking for a talented expert in the development of content and content-rich strategies to achieve specific goals for the expansion of our global platform – the handy phone. At Tink Labs, a Managing Editor and Content Strategist serves as a valuable resource for the travel industry and internal teams, consistently drives exceptional results through the creative use of content in a PR and digital marketing framework, and brings new ideas and solid content leadership to a business at the stage of ramp up. This is a global role with global team management responsibilities.

You’ll work with management to develop content direction based on Tink Labs overall business objectives and our customers’ needs, and support the Content team by providing hands-on writing as needed.
You’ll also work closely with global stakeholders across different lines of the business, and should be able to synthe their vision to align and evolve the content strategy.
An additional, and important part of your job will be working with Operations and Product teams to assist with the technical integration of content, and to proactively identify opportunities for automation of content.
Develop content strategy for Tink Labs travel and hospitality platform that aligns with our core business objectives
Drive strategic direction and management of the content team and lead the global content operations from Hong Kong headquarters and collaborate effectively with international stakeholders to develop strategy to align content efforts globally and
Perform audits to assess gaps in content coverage
Work with management to identify opportunities for A/B testing and set strategies for updates to content creation based on learnings
Leverage principles of project management to act as point on larger projects, create project plans for content, and drive forward prioritization and creation of that content
Develop training materials and work with management to develop quality tracking for writing and editing of content
Keep quality and style standards regularly updated and documented, as well as provide updates for new products, services, and policies
Work with management to set strategy for inclusion of support content in upstream, educational marketing content
Contribute to writing and editing of content as need arises
Drive best practice and end-to-end development process for data studies, white papers, other long-form or data-rich content projects, and integrated marketing campaigns to enable the team to work effectively and efficiently
Partnering with the PR team, providing meaningful insights about specific pieces of content, and the strategic use of content in global projects or long-term client engagements.
Helps develop and acquires high-quality pieces of content including data reports, bylines, white papers, blog posts and case studies for a portfolio of global hotel clients, this will take up approx. 30% of your time.
Participate in client-facing meetings as a content expert capable of offering substantive ideas about the use of content to achieve specific goals.
Take a leadership role in creative brainstorming and ideating concepts for client campaigns, internal projects and prospects.
Demonstrate a mastery of voice, tone and industry-specific vocabulary.
Function as the strategic content head for PR team members, content specialists and interns.
Provide direct supervision to embedded content specialists and interns in this team.
Degree preferably in journalism, English, or communications
7+ years of experience in content strategy and the development of content-rich B2B marketing campaigns and materials, preferably in the luxury travel and lifestyle segment.
Experience setting content strategy to support business objectives
Ability to clearly communicate with all stakeholders across the globe, along with Product and
Strong copywriting skills and conceptual abilities with demonstrated experience in crafting voice and style guidelines
The ability to identify, deliver, and set guidelines around the appropriate tone for different customer interactions, from conversational to informative to playful to empathetic
Able to self-prioritize workload and meet deliverables
Outstanding attitude and ability to respond appropriately to a multitude of feedbacks
Possess strong attention to detail and strong communication skills
Experience creating content in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and authoring within a Content Management System
In-house and prior agency experience will be advantageous
