Job Description

Our client is a well established PRC based financial group with SFC Type 1, 2, 4, 6 & 9 business licenses. Currently she is seeking for a high caliber candidate for the following position:

Head of Internal Audit & Compliance

  • Conduct internal compliance audit assignments on the Group's financial, operational, compliance and IT general controls
  • Identify control deficiency, analyze, appraise evidential information, suggest recommendations for improvement
  • Develop, implement and execute internal audit and control system/procedures
  • Perform follow up reviews on the implementation status of remedial measures
  • Compile the audit plan and audit manual
  • Identify and evaluate risks within the internal control environment
  • Carry out ad-hoc assignments as required

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting or related discipline
  • Member of HKICPA, ACCA, CIA or other professional bodies
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in internal auditing and /or external auditing in FI industry with Big4 exposure an added plus
  • Sound knowledge of securities/ futures dealing operations, credit audit and compliance
  • Strong sense of job commitment, self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Good command of verbal and written communication in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
