Job Description

  • Provide strategic directions for the business 
  • Overall responsibility for business portfolio in China 
  • The position will be based in Shanghai, but oversees business operations of teams, Shanghai, Beijing & Guangzhou offices with about 30 persons 
  • Reporting to the VP Scholastic Asia, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 
  • Formulate and implement the company's sales strategies to achieve overall business targets 
  • Represent the company in liaising with government offices and regulatory bodies 
  • Work closely with the regional office to ensure alignment of business goals 


  • Degree in Business, Marketing or similar with min 8 years proven leadership in a management position 
  • Management and sales experience with a local or foreign company in the content sales of publishing 
  • Demonstrate excellent business and financial acumen 
  • The candidate should be entrepreneurial and resourceful, and with a keen eye on business opportunities in China 
  • Fluent in English and Chinese
