Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • Manage a growing team of software engineers with varying levels of experience
  • Establish schedules, priorities and task assignments
  • Apply appropriate software development methodologies and scheduling to produce smooth product deliveries
  • Ensure high standards in architecture discussion and code quality
  • Participate in technical design
  • Communicate clearly to senior management team
Requirements:
  • Degree in computer science, compute engineering or related disciplines
  • 10 years of relevant engineering work experience, including 5 years of hands-on technical management (incl. hiring, coaching and mentoring, and evaluating performance)
  • Exceptional coding abilities and experience with mobile applications
  • Managed several large-scale projects with multiple dependencies across teams
  • Experience with transitioning to service oriented architecture
  • Knowledge of best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Consistently made culture choices that positively impact all of engineering
  • Experience in an agile development environment
  • Experience managing multinational teams
  • Experience in using data to continuously improve system’s reliability and scalability
