About our Client Our client is a luxury fashion company with a significant market share in the retail sector. They are now looking to recruit a high calibre Buying Manager to join their team.
About the Role Reporting to the General Manager, this is a hands-on role. You will conduct overseas buying activities, mainly focus on European markets. In order to achieve business objective, you will be managing gross profit and inventory levels as well as selecting/defining product assortment plan by store including formulating merchandising, sales & promotional strategies. Moreover, you will negotiate buying terms and develop/maintain vendor relationship by enhancing supplier base and evaluating current/potential suppliers' performance.
At least 8 years of buying experience in apparel and accessories
Proven track record in business achievement on gross profit
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Merchandise Manager

Interacting with external customers and internal customers and addressing their queries, requests and complaints.

Complaints Management- addressing customer complaints at the branch, system updation, coordination with Sales/HUB/ other functions for resolution.
Refunds processing and dispatch
Undelivered policy documents tracking and management.
Maintenance of all files and registers.
New Business Processing:-
Handling end to end New business processing starting from creation of Client id,Case start up, New business login, Follow up for policy issuance, Quality Check
Follow up with HUB for policy issuance of pending cases
