Our client is a leading provider for digital technology solution
to publicly-listed companies. Within Asia Pacific, they operate offices in Hong
Kong, Singapore, Taipei, Shanghai and PRC, serving over 500 companies in the
region. They are looking to hire a Business Development Executive (Media) to their team in Hong Kong.
Report to business development head in the region
Analyze and monitor the media landscapes in Asia-Pacific countries
Expand the distribution network for financial and compliance press releases
Manage relationships with the existing partner network
Responsible for partner pipelines, commercial negotiations and end-to-end technical integration and delivery.
Work closely with the corresponding roles in other countries to ensure distribution network offerings remain global benchmark
Participate in the research and development activities
Engage in pre-sales preparation, pitch meetings and client onboarding together with the Sales Team.
Participate in events to present the company’s value proposition to target audiences
Degree from the financial media/newswire services sector or relevant commercial experience
Minimum 2 years of experience within sales/business development, ideally from the financial media/newswire services sector. Other sales and consulting activities with media background will also be considered.
Expertise within the news release distribution space; including, but not limited to the media landscape in Asia-Pacific, and newswire competitors.
Digital native, plus basic knowledge of HTML, and understanding of feed technologies in news delivery.
Fluency in Putonghua and English are a must, Cantonese is a plus.

Complaints Management- addressing customer complaints at the branch, system updation, coordination with Sales/HUB/ other functions for resolution.
Refunds processing and dispatch
Undelivered policy documents tracking and management.
Maintenance of all files and registers.
New Business Processing:-
Handling end to end New business processing starting from creation of Client id,Case start up, New business login, Follow up for policy issuance, Quality Check
Follow up with HUB for policy issuance of pending cases
